Dinner and recognition on
September 17
Can you believe it? Our SMPS Wisconsin Chapter is turning 20-years-old in September 2010 and our Board of Directors wants to celebrate this significant milestone!
For two decades we’ve made it our mission to provide our members with the unique educational, networking and professional development opportunities specific to the A/E/C industry. Together, we’ve overcome industry and economic challenges and have helped shape strategies and tactics into a new era of marketing and business development.
We’d like to recognize our Chapter’s 20th anniversary and thank our members for continued support over the years. To do so, we’re planning a special event in September that will include:
- A Edelweiss boat tour along the Milwaukee River featuring appetizers and cocktails hosted by Big Shoes Network
- Dinner at the Pfister in downtown Milwaukee
- Presentation from Roger Seip (his bio and blog) – standup comedian and Vice President of New Product Development at Freedom Personal Development
- Remarks from SMPS National CEO Ron Worth
- Networking, reminiscing and good company from SMPS members, including past presidents, founders, and current and past board members
- And much more!

As President-Elect, I am thrilled that we’ll be kicking off our 2010-11 season this September with an event that recognizes our Wisconsin Chapter and its members. We’re still in the process of finalizing details of the event, so as information continues to be generated, we’ll be sure to post on our Web site. This is quickly shaping up to be an outstanding event and I hope you’ll consider attending to help celebrate 20 years in Wisconsin!
Diane Chamness is helping us track down past presidents and board members. If you have contact information, please send it to her! We're hoping all the past leaders will attend.
Watch this site for more details as they unfold.
And, just for fun, the 15th Anniversary newsletter and invitation postcard
