What's in store for 2008-09?
Every year SMPS Wisconsin develops interesting and insightful monthly luncheon programs from September to May. In 2008-09, we will also host a Half-day Workshop, monthly no-charge Thirsty Thursday networking events, an Awards Program, and the Midwest Regional Conference.

Welcome to the Wisconsin Chapter of the Society of Marketing Professional Services. The SMPS Wisconsin Chapter celebrated our 15th Anniversary during 2005-06. With current membership at almost 100 professionals from more than 50 businesses, we continue to support the networking, educational and resource needs of our members.

As a SMPS Wisconsin member, you will meet clients, peers, and related professionals at monthly meetings and special events where you can exchange ideas or share opportunities. This network offers approximately nine events throughout the year that support partnering opportunities within our specific industry and locale.


National
The Society of Marketing Professional Services was created in 1973 by a small group of professional service firm leaders who recognized the need to sharpen skills, pool resources and work together to create business opportunities. Together they created SMPS to help tackle the day-to-day complexities of marketing in a time when marketing was barely acknowledged as a separate component of professional service firms.

Directed toward marketing in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction Industry, SMPS has grown to represent thousands of members who are active in 51 chapters and over 5,300+ members across the United States and Canada. Our members are marketing professionals employed by architecture, engineering, planning, interior design, construction and specialty consulting firms. Together, these professionals contribute support for the SMPS mission: "To be the premier resource for education, information, and resources in marketing professional services for the built and natural environment."
